Workshop
THEATRICAL EXPERIENCE WORKSHOP – THE INTENTION OF THIS SHORT WORKSHOP IS TO STIMULATE AND TO EXERCISE THE THEATRICAL POTENTIALITY OF THE PARTICIPANTS THROUGH INDIVIDUAL PERCEPTION AND INTERCHANGE WITH THE OTHERS.
The workshop will be composed of three parts:
a. Physical warming up connected with body dynamics, breath and senses
b. Psycho physical exercise connected with imagination, perception and concentration
c. Improvisational games based on recreation of several aspects of reality
The techniques of this workshop don’t require from the participants previous theatrical experience, they were developed to activate different simultaneous possibilities to be aware and to move decisions.
It means to play and to act and to let ideas and actions, manifest with spontanity, The techniques are to adequate the thought and imagination to the spontanity of the game.
Curriculum:
Carlos Trafic is an actor with more than 40 years experience on the stage. His work has been developed during the late sixties and seventies in several research and avantguarde groups, such as “ grupo lobo “ (Buenos Aires) “Dharma theatre” (Sao Paulo) and “The living theatre” (New York). Since then he has been performing and directing through Europe. During the last ten years he was teaching on projects of the Otto Falckenbergschule (official theatre school in Munchen,Germany) in order to develop the fantasy and theatrical rhythm of the students.
